Chess - A Short Film
This was my first complete VFX short film. I wrote the script with no prior experience in writing, directing, or filming. Despite being nervous, with friends' help, we began filming in May 2023 over two weekends.
After finishing the film, I edited it in After Effects. I made a never-ending grass field in Blender and exported various angles for backgrounds. After months of rotoscoping and tweaks, I completed all the shots. The final result showed the limited budget, but I was still proud of completing my biggest project to date.
